My first post....(Yeah)

I am very excited to be joining the blogging world.  For the past year I have found and am now following some amazing teacher bloggers.  These amazing women have inspired me to create my own blog page, so I can connect with my fellow friends.  I am looking to share ideas, experiences, and to learn from others as well.  Clearly I am new to this world so I may need some help along the way!  I am newly invested in technology and would love to incorporate it into my daily routine.

So my first question to you is how often do you post and do you set time in your schedule for posting?

  1. Hi HOllie! Welcome to blogging! I try to post at least 4 times a week. Right now in the summer it's pretty easy to do but we'll see when school starts back. If you need anything, I would love to help you out. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment.

    1. Kerri thanks for stopping by. I am trying to make myself a button and I am trying to figure out how to get other peoples button onto my page. If you know of an easy way please let me know. I do admit summer does seem like a really good time to begin a blog because of our free time. I am hoping to keep up with it during the school year. Since I am constantly at my computer (pinning). Thanks again.

  4. Welcome to blog world!!! I have such a crazy life that I just have to post whenever I can find a few minutes to! Right now, I like to have at least 3-4 posts per week since it's summer and at least one post per week during the school year so I can stay fresh in people's minds. On occasion, I have been able to write a few posts in advance and just scheduled them to post--that is ideal for me, but I rarely have time to sit and write more than one post at once! Good luck to you! :)

    1. Janaye, thanks for taking the time to respond! I am going to definitely have to see what works for me when school begins. Right now I have all the time in the world. LOL! So reading blogs and posting is a bit easier. I need to begin organizing my life since I go back to work Aug 23rd. I may call on you in the future. Thanks again.

  5. Hi Hollie,

Thank you for sharing your blog site with me and for visiting my blog.

I am so glad that you felt inspired!

I have heard that a good "blogger" blogs approximately every other day. I try to blog a few times per week, and do so whenever I have something I really want to share with the world!!

Good luck and enjoy every moment!!

    1. That seems like a good idea! I think I might blog when I have something to share and if I have thought provoking questions. Thanks you Joanne

  6. Hi Hollie
Blogging is a great way to reflect on what has happen in your room. I get excited during the day when I'm documenting the learning that I can't wait to get home and post. With that said I try to take the weekends off from blogging. It all depends. Have fun.
